When I was young, I wasn't very good at the game of Monopoly. I loved the little car and shoe pieces best. However, over the years I've learned that 90% of billionaires make their fortune through some form of real estate. I love the idea of passive income and how the American Dream can be achieved by people from all walks of life-one rental property at a time. Recently, I've found myself thinking about the idea of time, and how time is on your side with any form of investment. We can only wish that we had purchased a home at market price ten years ago, or picked up some shares in Google stock when they were only a few dollars. Hindsight is 20/20. What I am reminded of is: whatever you buy now, you'll wish you had invested in ten more in ten years. Time is on your side and this is an amazing opportunity to start (or add to) your real estate empire with these wonderful rentals.
